Assists the priests in the distribution of Holy Communion to the community at weekend and special Masses, and to those who are shut-in, living in care homes or their private homes.
Though voluntary in nature, the names of volunteers are submitted to the pastor for approval. The list of EMs are submitted to the Archdiocese of Vancouver. EMs are commissioned and appointed every two years.
